Today was nice and quiet. Emma and I went grocery shopping and then did a few things around the house. I got Caleb's first e-mail since he left. He sounds good. We both feel like the "light at the end of the tunnel" makes this much more bearable. It's around midnight and Emma's asleep on the loveseat. I'm really sleepy, so I'll have to move her soon...
I'm really excited about going to Louisiana for deployment. Not really looking forward to the car ride, but it's very worth it. It's so nice to think that this time next year, we'll be moved. I can't wait for Caleb's Navy days to be over. It will be different, but it will be good - very good.
