Carrot & Herb Chicken Steak
These tasty chicken patties are lean and nutritious! They can be served on rice or mashed potatoes with your favorite veggies for sides!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chicken - 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 carrot, shredded - 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 cup Italian style bread crumbs - 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp all-spice - 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 finely chopped green onions
1) Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl while heating a small amount of olive oil in large skillet.
2) The mixture should make 6 patties. Place them in skillet over medium-high heat for about 6 minutes on each side or until slightly blackened and cooked through.
