Super Thrifty Baby Table
Sooo we switched to disposable diapers when we put the house on the market....The cloth ones are all in storage. I didn't want to have cloth diapers laying around when people were looking at the house. I mean, we already have Polo, and you know how first impressions can go. At any rate, I quickly started to rack up on empty diaper boxes. I refuse to throw them away because, after all, we're moving soon and we can use these puppies!
Emma was eating finger foods and hated her high chair, so one day I decided I'd make her a table.
All I had to buy was some contact paper (cutesy pattern recommended). I taped the flaps on the box so they wouldn't stick up and went to work with the contact paper.
If I can do this, anyone can. I don't have a good track record with contact paper. Actually, I don't have any track record with it. This was my first contact paper project! The bulk of my time was spent on smoothing bubbles and crinkles out; all-in-all, it turned out pretty good.
Emma's been eating at this table for about 3 months and she loves it. The contact paper makes for easy clean up, which we all know how important that is! Of course, she throws her food on the floor....but that's a different story!
Until next time,
