Hi guys! Time is flying by. Emma, the hubby and I are flying to Texas next weekend! This will actually be Emma's second round of flying.
When Caleb got home from deployment, we flew to California to see my great aunt. We had a wonderful visit with her and my cousin. Then, we flew to Louisiana to see our family. It was Caleb's first visit home in two whole years! We had a great time. Emma had a birthday while we were there, so you know she loved it!
At any rate, we're flying down to Texas for househunting. We'll be there for a week and we're super excited to visit our new stomping grounds!
As I type this, there's a training call playing in the background...I found a really neat home-based business opportunity. I considered going back to work, but the thought is a bit heartbreaking. I mean, it would take 40 hours a week to cover daycare and make a profit...at the expense of time with my family. It just doesn't feel right.
Like so many people, I researched work at home jobs and came up empty handed. I even applied to 3 or 4 companies and never received a response...not cool. A few weeks ago, I started searching for telecommuting opportunities and stumbled across something I feel really good about. I'll keep you updated :)
Yesterday, I bought some wheat germ. That's right. I bought germs. It's so nutrient rich, we had to try it. Whatdoya know, Emma wouldn't eat supper last night...so I whipped up some mac & cheese with spinach and wheat germ. She LOVED it and I didn't feel guilty - it was a definite win/win situation! We like those!
Do you have any concoctions you'd like to share? This lab rat mama would love to hear!
Until next time, live.laugh.love.
