Homemade Kitchen/Bathroom Cleaner
Well hello again! This quick recipe is for a gentle yet effective cleaner that can be used on any surface in your kitchen or bathroom. This is great for daily counter/sink cleaning!!!
Here's what you'll need:
- 1 spray bottle
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid dish soap
- 3-4 drops tea tree essential oil
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups warm water
Here's what you do - it's easy squeezy, I promise:
1) Put the vinegar, baking soda and dish soap in your spray bottle. Shake it up. It's going to fizz some, so let it settle some before the next step.
2) Add the water. Warm water works best here, it just mixes better.
3) And add your tea tree. Just a few drops is all you need! Tea tree is a natural anti-microbial and also has a pleasant aroma.
4) Go ahead and shake the bottle to mix. Now you're all set to try out your new cleaner!
The great thing about this cleaner is that it doesn't sting your nose when you use it! There are some messes that just need a little chemical attention, but this cleaner is super for daily use. It also has a nice, almost minty aroma. Surprisingly it doesn't smell like vinegar at all (and I can smell vinegar a mile away). Happy housekeeping! Enjoy!
***ADDENDUM*** --->>> I now make this solution without the dish soap. It smells and works pretty much the same! I'd recommend going this route, because it's a simple, cost-efficient way to go green!
