Hi guys! I'm back with another excerpt from the deployment journal! This one's from d-day...Man, I remember this like it was yesterday. If you've gone through a deployment, you know exactly how it feels. If you haven't, you can probably imagine!

Caleb left on deployment today. It is very bittersweet. Leaving him at the pier was so hard. I always get a lump in my throat. Sometimes I cry, but somehow I've gotten through the day without tears. Emma makes it better. I have her to keep me busy and make me smile. Today marks the beginning of the end of the Navy days - for me at least. The day when we pick Caleb up at the pier will be an amazing one..."
