Productivity is certainly rewarding! Yesterday I transplanted my tomatoes and bell peppers into bigger containers. I'm down to 2 of each! It's hard to believe I planted about 24 of each from seeds. There were some bitter eliminations along the way, so let's hope the ones left standing will make some great veggies!
I also sewed my first dress (for Emma, of course) last night. It's a pillowcase dress, which is very simple. If you're a beginner or just need something quick - do a quick Google search and you'll like this one! I won't post pics this time (sorry guys), as it was a test run and isn't completely embellished. There will be a new dress soon = I found another tutorial that I really like today...Must go to the fabric store ASAP!!!
Today I did some research on solar power. Still reading up on the efficiency of solar panels, but I like the idea of generating our own power. It's quite an investment and I'm not sure what sort of maintenance is required. As with all things, there are pros and cons. I suppose it's a matter of choice and what suits your family. Personally, I think going green is a great thing!
Speaking of solar power, you'll never ever guess what my next project is!!! Two words: solar oven. It's like an Easy Bake Oven but there's no electricity needed and it can be made out of 2 cardboard boxes, some newspaper and tin foil.
I have so many projects spinning around in my head right now! This post probably seems a bit discombobulated as I am a bit tired...Little miss Emma kept me busy today. She's asleep at the moment and mama is soon to follow!
